About Hilltop

Mission

to provide leadership for community-based services that foster self-sufficiency and enrich quality of life

Vision

filling the gaps for those under served or not served

Hilltop Community Resources, Inc.

In 1950, Hilltop Community Resources, Inc. began as a small outpatient clinic for people with physical disabilities. By 1977, the clinic had grown into the largest rehabilitation hospital between Denver and Salt Lake City. Due to the changing medical climate, Hilltop sold its rehabilitation hospital in 1996 to St. Mary’s Hospital, but continued to focus on the gaps of service in the area and take on new program services.

Hilltop has since grown to 21 community-based programs serving 20,000 individuals annually in Mesa, Delta, Montrose, and Ouray counties, and 3 Senior Living Communities, The Fountains, The Commons, and The Cottages. For over half a century, many young children, teenagers, adults, and seniors have created new futures for themselves with the help of Hilltop’s programs.

Hilltop’s key management staff and Board of Directors provide a core of experience, commitment, and vision to this dynamic organization's stewardship.
